Well at least it put the result from that site from #2, to above that the of #1 result (tripadvisor), together with the longer snippet that can only benefit the site

Perhaps of much more interest though, is the movement of the KP card from the right column into the actual search results ?

I've seen a few questions about the cards from webmasters, why does a competitor get them, what triggers them, why one query and not another similar one? Those types of things so they're somewhat common in the wild for certain query types. I haven't done a poll yet.
