This new tabbed Gmail blows donkeys
1. It doesn't work – Promotions shows 3 emails from 2010, Promotions in left nav shows '000s of emails
2. It takes up valuable vertical real estate pushing my email down and showing less emails in list
3. The design has a small 5-10px top gutter over the first email in list which is identical to the bottom padding on each row, so it looks like your scrolled down in the list when you're not
I'm not seeing any advantage to this. If anyone know how to revert I'd like to hear.

I looked at the new tabbed Inbox when it came out. It worked great, but I didn't like it and switched back to the unread-first version. I haven't done the filter to prevent the category assignments (I can just ignore that) but I did want my old Inbox back.
