OK… seriously now… Last time I had the guy under my gun he fled screaming.
Not only does he have outlandish, sensationalist marketing claims, but what he did to Matt Cutts was both out of order and unethical. I will destroy him where I find him.

That is just a standard sensational headline for clicks, why are you surprised?
Ignoring what he spoke about specifically for a moment, some of the information he is referring to was leaked in the quality raters handbook.
However, I don't really consider statements made at conferences or in Hangouts to be 'leaks' — the Google employees making those statements know what they can and cannot disclose.
