Comparing niche domains sites with more general ones – "TahoeLodging.com and TahoeMountainLodging.com as keyword domains, and TripAdvisor.com, Expedia.com, Kayak.com, and others as brandable domains" – and expecting them to be viewed similarly was the straw that broke the camel's back for me.

If the keywords are relevant. Trip & Advice would do just aswell as a Chem Dependancy domain if it's content a was half decent.
